VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The South Madison Coalition of the Elderly is seeking volunteers to serve on its board of directors or on board committees. Persons knowledgeable about meeting the needs of older adults are especially wanted to share their skills. For more information, contact Kathleen Stoga, 251-8405.
The RSVP Volunteer Driver program needs volunteer escort drivers in the Madison and Monona area to help adults 60 and over who do not have access to personal transportation. For more information, call Gene at RSVP, 441-7896, or e-mail gkundert@rsvpdane.org.
ASSE International, a student-exchange program, is looking for volunteers to serve as area representatives in their local community. Area representatives recruit and screen prospective host families, interview students to study abroad, and supervise the visiting exchange students in their community.
