  • Holiday meal volunteers

Volunteers are needed to serve and clean up after the holiday meal on Dec. 25 at the Madison Senior Center. Late morning and early afternoon shifts available. Call Lynne, 267-2344.

  • Briarpatch

  • MAFAAC conference

Volunteers are needed to help plan and organize MAFAAC’s second annual conference on "Race and Education: Closing the Achievement Gap," that is scheduled for Saturday, April 24 at Wright Middle School. The keynote speaker will be Julie Kailin, UW-Milwaukee professor of education and author of"Anti-Racist Education: From Theory to Practice."

  • MAPC Volunteer Night

The Madison Area Peace Coalition (MAPC) will hold a Volunteer Night Thursday, Dec. 18, 7 p.m. at 122 State St., Room 404. Learn more about MAPC and spend an evening helping in the work of building the peace movement. For more information, call Mike Wunsch, 835-7501.
